Judy CallManaging Principal
With Lambert Communications, a start-up healthcare satellite broadcast company, Ms. Call served as liaison to the healthcare community, directed sales, marketing and programming activities. Prior to joining Lambert Communications, she was President and Chief Executive Officer of Holy Redeemer Health System, Philadelphia. This multi-unit, regional healthcare system provided acute services, long-term care, home healthcare services, housing units for the elderly and transitional units for homeless women and children. With Midwest Health Plan Ms. Call supported the physician owners to participate and grow as Michigan converted all Medicaid enrollees to managed care plans. Ms. Call served as Executive Vice President of Mercy Health Services, a large Michigan based holding company for the health related enterprises of the Sisters of Mercy - Detroit. The system included 16 hospitals, a health maintenance organization, services to the elderly, consulting services including an international healthcare consulting company. As President and Chief Executive Officer of Our Lady of Mercy Hospital, Dyer, Indiana, Ms. Call managed the financial and programmatic turnaround of this 264 bed community hospital. Earlier in her career, Ms. Call served as Secretary of Health for South Dakota during the mid-1970’s and was the first non-physician appointed to this post. She administered the state’s public health and safety programs and was a member of the Governor’s Cabinet. Prior to that she served as Assistant Administrator for McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D. and was the Assistant Director of the School of Medical Technology at Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Hospital, Chicago. Ms. Call is a graduate of Bradley University and holds a Master’s in Health and Hospital Administration from the University of Iowa. She has served on numerous healthcare boards, community boards and board of a national bank.
